OMG what will I do?!
I tried the usual fixes. I rebooted, ran the anti-virus, then rebooted it again. No luck. So I took out the sim card and cleaned it. Still didn’t work. I couldn’t even call Verizon to report it!
When I got to the office, everything was working again. I called Verizon and they said there were no tower issues, so I asked them to call Angie, who was still at home. Apparently I was one of the first people to notify them. Well, his call dropped 4 times so the guy finally believed my phone wasn’t the issue and reported the problem.
Before I went back home, I stopped to get a hamburger at a local place figuring I’d read the sports while I ate. They had the same issue. No internet. Since I don’t get newspapers anymore and my phone was useless, I couldn’t tune out the people by reading like normal. Instead, I decided to actually talk to people. How annoying…
So, I talked to the waitress, the manager, the cook who was on his first day as a cook, and a customer that worked for a grain bin company. What a weird concept. Talking to actual humans.
