Fear and Terror doesn’t need to define your life.

Nothing terrifies me, except kryptonite. =)

The things that terrify you change and evolve throughout your entire life.

As a late teenager, I was afraid that my parents would catch me drinking.

When I moved out of my parents house and headed to California, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to make it and would be forced to come crawling back.

Then I got married, and I was afraid since I didn’t have a “real job”, I wouldn’t be able to provide for my family.

Once I had kids, I was afraid that one of them would get hurt, or disappear.

As the kids got older, I was afraid that I hadn’t taught them enough to survive on their own.

After that, I was afraid that they would settle in life. Give up on chasing their dreams because of my example.

Then, I was afraid my health would fail, and I would die before my time.

And so it goes.

We all have fears. We all have insecurities.

Of all the things that I listed above, not one single one of those fears materialized.

None of them!

All that happened is I stressed out about a thousand things that didn’t come to pass. I wasted a…
